About The Evening

Nobody does more to improve the lives of our Brooklyn community in all its beautiful diversity than those who work tirelessly to address its physical and recreational needs: Maimonides Medical Center and its hometown teams, the Brooklyn Nets and New York Islanders.

Maimonides is proud to be the Hometown Hospital of both the Nets and the Islanders, and is excited to host the Gala in the arena they call home.

Guests will enjoy cocktails in the impressive GEICO Atrium, near the world-famous Oculus, then be escorted to VIP seating inside the arena for an awards presentation courtside, followed by dinner on the court, entertainment and dancing.

Join the Nets, the Islanders and Team Maimonides for a one-of-a-kind evening celebrating Brooklyn’s best – the Champions of Healing from all walks of life who lead, excel and inspire.
