Brooklyn Nets Visit Maimonides Cancer Patients

Patients at the Maimonides Cancer Center recently enjoyed a visit from four members of Brooklyn’s own NBA franchise, the Nets. These world-class athletes were greeted by Ken Gibbs, Maimonides CEO, and the entire staff of the Cancer Center, and then made their way through the patient care areas, greeting children and adults undergoing cancer treatment.

Sean Kilpatrick, Justin Hamilton, Quincy Acy and Joe Harris chatted with many patients and signed autographs. They particularly spent time with the pediatric patients of the Cancer Center, posing for selfies with the kids and learning more about their courageous battles with the disease. The patients, their families and staff were delighted by the visit.
