Maimonides recently unveiled a newly constructed Infusion Suite with a special Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at the Maimonides Cancer Center. The state-of-the-art Infusion Suite allows patients to receive a wide range of infusion treatments for cancer, blood diseases and other disorders, in a comfortable outpatient setting.

“Our new Infusion Suite gives patients access to treatment in private rooms to increase their comfort,” said Dr. Kevin Becker, Director of Medical Oncology at the Maimonides Cancer Center. “This beautifully enhanced space also allows more room for patients to have the company of loved ones.”

The Infusion Suite offers a soothing environment and is equipped with private and shared infusion bays that provide ample seating, flat screen televisions, and telephones that not only allow patients to make outside calls, but also connect them to Infusion Suite nursing staff, if needed.

The Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony included a speaking program with remarks from Ken Gibbs, Maimonides President and CEO; NYS Assembly Member Felix Ortiz; and Dr. Kevin Becker, Director of Medical Oncology. The celebration concluded with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting performed by Dr. Becker and Jessey Bubb, RN, followed by a tour of the newly renovated space.
