Child Adolescent Outpatient Service
In the Child Adolescent Outpatient Service, low-income families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds are seen for a full range of services. They are treated using a multidisciplinary approach and involvement with outside agencies, such as the courts, schools and the Administration for Children's Services.
Wellness Recovery Program
The Wellness Recovery Program (WRP) works with adult patients diagnosed with chronic mental illness. The program currently consists of a three-day-per-week outpatient clinic that provides intensive treatment for patients with severe mental illness. Many of the services are performed in a milieu therapy setting, and involve a wide variety of specialized groups, individual psychotherapy, psychological testing, and intakes.
Within WRP, externs have the opportunity to run groups and conduct individual therapy in Spanish. The Wellness Recovery Program serves a large Latinx population through its “Latino Program,” where a team of clinicians run monolingual Spanish-speaking groups.
