Welcome to the Cardiology Fellowship

The Cardiology Fellowship Program operates within the Maimonides Heart and Vascular Institute, one of the most comprehensive Heart and Vascular centers in the nation. Thousands of patients from Brooklyn, the greater New York metropolitan area, and across the country are treated at Maimonides each year. Fellows of this program benefit from the interdisciplinary, comprehensive, and innovative care offered at the Maimonides Heart and Vascular Institute.

The Cardiology Fellowship Program is a fully-accredited, 3-year program designed to provide expert clinical skills in all areas of cardiovascular medicine and offers significant experience in research. Acceptance to the program requires the successful completion of an accredited residency in internal medicine, as well as enrollment through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Our program begins with a firm foundation in the basics and progressively introduces the fellows to a higher degree of sophistication in their approach to the cardiac patient.

The fellowship offers a total of 21 positions
