Maimonides Trustee Erminia Rivera was recently honored by the hospital and the Brooklyn Cyclones baseball team as a Winning Woman for being a successful female business leader who regularly gives back to the community.
It was an evening celebrating Hispanic Heritage at MCU Park, as well. Ms. Rivera, who is proudly Puerto Rican, was honored during pre-game festivities, and threw out a ceremonial first-pitch. She was joined on the field by her sons Gilbert Jr. and Kevin Rivera.
A second Winning Woman also joined the celebration: Fox 5 New York’s Ines Rosales whose family hails from Guatemala. A Mexican mariachi band set a festive tone and the celebration was a big hit with all!
