Maimonides has two facilities dedicated to pediatric ophthalmology: The Eye Institute and the Pediatric Eye Center.


The Eye Institute

The Eye Institute is a state-of-the-art facility that provides routine checkups for children and adults, as well as specialty care services. We are equipped with the latest technology to diagnose and treat ophthalmologic problems. We have a talented, expert team of board-certified ophthalmic surgeons and diagnosticians committed to providing quality eye care. Our physicians are trained in cutting-edge laser surgery methods and microsurgery. Our team utilizes the most sophisticated diagnostic tools available. The Eye Institute is at the forefront of advanced medical science by pursuing research and participating in multiple clinical trials, including therapy for dry eyes, retinal diseases and glaucoma.


The Pediatric Eye Center

The Pediatric Eye Center provides ophthalmology care to the youngest members of our community. Our skilled group of board-certified pediatric physicians and staff provide expert ophthalmology care for children and adolescents. We utilize the most advanced equipment to manage your child's vision and diagnose even the most complex pediatric eye disorders. In order to reduce your child's anxiety, we evaluate and deliver eye care that is child-friendly in an environment created just for them.
