Heart and Vascular Center Services

The Maimonides Heart & Vascular Centr is one of the most comprehensive cardiac centers in the nation, offering invasive and noninvasive, medical and surgical, adult and pediatric care. For many years we have set the standard in diagnosing, treating and educating patients with heart disease. The Maimonides Heart & Vascular Center is a partnership between referring doctors, cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, nurses and professional staff.

Successful Outcomes

Few hospitals in the nation rival our annual volume or successful outcomes in the treatment of high-risk and elderly patients. We perform more than 10,500 noninvasive procedures, more than 5,000 invasive procedures in the cathterization and electrophysiology labs and 700 open heart surgeries each year. Maimonides as a hospital received the Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence in 2007, as well as a Specialty Excellence Award in Cardiac Services. These successful outcomes and statistics are the most recent in a long history of innovations and successes.

State-of-the Art Technology

We are committed to using the latest technology available to provide the best care possible to you and to continue to find new ways to treat coronary disease. Our use of technology has been nationally recognized, including storing images digitally and entering patient orders electronically. The use of laser technology and robotic techniques are expanding as well.
