Why?

  • Children need to eat nutritious foods and stay active for healthy growth and development. Let's Move! is a childhood health and nutrition program with tips and resources for children and parents to help keep kids healthy

Tips

Think 5 - 2 - 1 - 0 when planning eating and activities throughout the day:

  • 5 or more fruits & vegetables each day

  • 2 or less hours of less screen time (time in front of the TV, computer, smartphone, tablet, and/or video games)

  • 1 hour or more of physical activity 

  • 0 sugar-sweetened drinks (store-bought juice, soda, or iced tea), try drinking more water
