Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship

The Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program was formed in 2013 and is the first program of its kind in Brooklyn and one of the first in New York City.  This fellowship is designed to provide additional training relevant to the practice of PHM in both academic and community hospital settings.  This one-year fellowship is structured as a mentored junior attending year to provide the benefits of autonomous practice experience while being fully supported by a group of dedicated pediatric hospitalist attendings.  In addition, ample "non-service" time is afforded to provide additional supervised experience in the care of critically ill children and chronically ill children in a subacute/chronic facility setting, as well as procedural sedation, medical education, and quality improvement.
