"I'm from a small village in the county of Norfolk, 100 miles north east of London, England. It was a long windy road that led me to Maimonides EM residency program and it started when I bumped into a certain American in a library in London in 2002. Several years later after finishing medical school, working for 4 years in surgery, medicine and emergency medicine (UK style training), I interviewed at Maimonides and knew if I was going to be anywhere at all thousands of miles from home, this was where I wanted to be."
hobbies: cycling, cursing at drivers who try and run me down on a daily basis, swimming, literature and current affairs, drinking, thinking about England (and nationalised health care....), travelling. I used to have more hobbies I think but they fell by the wayside..... as do many things during residency.
