Bio:
I was born and raised in Orange County, California, but I have been blessed to call other places home: Malibu (California), Heidelberg (Germany), Jinotega (Nicaragua), Asunción (Paraguay), Guadalajara (México), and now, Brooklyn. In a former life (pre med school), I was a high school science teacher, biotech employee and passport stamp accumulator. After doing both EM sub-I and EM Ultrasound electives at Maimonides, I am thrilled to train with a fantastic group of people in a fascinating ED--where the action, acuity level, and diversity never cease to amaze and challenge me.
What makes life so grand/Hobbies: amazing family and friends, “small world” occurrences, skiing (in particular, Deer Valley-- a slice of heaven), minimal footwear running (vibrams), adventures in travel, finding the best eats in New York, my brownstone rooftop+malbec, keeping the bigger picture in perspective.
