As part of our "A Day in the Life" series, we met Dr. Matt Norkunas, an attending anesthesiologist here at Maimonides Medical Center. We followed Dr. Norkunas throughout the day to find out what life is really like bringing a diverse group of patients safely and painlessly through surgical procedures. We saw that Dr. Norkunas takes his job seriously -- guiding patients, families, and residents through admittedly stressful situations -- and manages to do it all with a sense of humor.
