Welcome to the Only Dedicated Breast Cancer Center in Brooklyn
We are proud to have opened the doors on Brooklyn's first dedicated breast cancer center in October 2011. When the Brooklyn Breast Cancer Program began in 2006, we treated 40 women with breast cancer. Today, we treat close to 500 women a year.
Delivering patient-centered care at the highest possible level requires state-of-the-art facilities with a soothing, healing atmosphere. The Maimonides Breast Cancer Center features the most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment equipment, all housed in a warm and welcoming homelike environment that fosters healing. Our Center is designed to support each patient as a whole person, integrating the healing of the body with the mind and spirit.

The Maimonides Breast Cancer Center offers comprehensive screening, diagnostic, medical and surgical breast services, as well as nutrition and genetics counseling, and a full array of psycho-social support for patients and families. We are deeply committed to offering our patients every significant advantage in their battle against breast disease by providing them with the highest level of quality breast care.
Members of our medical team, many of whom are renowned nationally, are skilled and experienced -- all collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to devise the best individualized treatment plans for our patients.
We are thankful to have earned the acclaim of our patients. Unlike many subspecialties where physicians refer patients, breast cancer patients often seek out a referral from a friend or family member who had breast cancer, and there is no greater act of confidence in the quality of care than a referral from a grateful patient.
