Going Beyond: Healing the Children
This third installment of our "Going Beyond" series features Dr. Paul Vastola, Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Maimonides, and his work with the Cleft Lip and Palate Service. Each year, Dr. Vastola travels to Nieva, Colombia in order to perform cleft lip surgeries on children. As Co-Director of the Cleft Lip and Palate Service, he has taken part in the mission trip for the past five years.
