Referral Information

At the Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital, we believe that collaboration and a team approach are essential to the comprehensive management of children with complex medical needs.

Our outstanding group of board-certified pediatric and surgical subspecialists is committed to providing timely consultations. We consider all options and respond to your requests for advice and intervention as soon as possible. In order to coordinate care and ensure proper documentation, communication by phone, letter, or email is provided.  

Consultation is available for both pediatric in-patient and out-patient concerns.  For in-patients, we are available through a covering specialist twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, for all sub-specialty divisions. Out-patient consultations can be obtained through an appointment by calling the Referral Appointment Center, or you are welcome to contact the physician’s office directly.
