At the Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital, we are as dedicated to the critical care we offer as to the compassion we give. Our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a modern, full service special care unit built and designed for the care of critically ill children.
 
The Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital offers exceptional pediatric critical care.  The unit is staffed by outstanding board-certified pediatric intensivists, nurse practitioners and highly experienced nurses. Our team works in collaboration with all the pediatric sub-specialties, pediatric surgical specialties, and the radiology department, to provide the most comprehensive and optimal medical treatment.  Our care is family-centered, and we make sure the families are involved in any healthcare decision for their children.  In order to reduce the child’s anxiety, we evaluate and deliver care that is child-friendly, in an environment created just for them.
