KAZOO Clinical Research Program
Graciela Wetzler, MD
Director, Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition is taking part in the KAZOO clinical research program to see if an investigational medicine can help teenagers who have Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). The investigational medicine is currently approved in USA and other countries for use by adults with GERD, but it needs additional testing in children. Your patient may be able to participate if he or she is 12 to 17 years old and has Gastroesophageal Reflux disease (GERD), also known as reflux or heartburn. Our staff will review your patient’s medical history and perform other tests to find out if he or she can participate in the study. Qualified participants may be compensated for travel and receive all study-related office visits, medical examinations, and study medication at no cost. Please contact our office at 718-283-7329.
