At the Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital, we are here for all infants, children, and adolescents who may be suffering from child abuse. We focus on assessment and treatment, and we offer comprehensive counseling and support for the child’s well-being. We are available twenty-four hours a day, and will always answer the call with compassion.

The Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital is committed to the prevention, assessment and treatment of child abuse. The service is led by a physician who is board-certified in child abuse, one of only a few hundred physicians with this board certification nationwide. Our team includes an outstanding multi-disciplinary group of psychologists, social workers, coordinators, and Child Life specialists, all dedicated to providing the best care possible. We offer both inpatent and outpatient services. We believe in the concept of family-centered care, and offer education and support to both child and family. By partnering with the family, we give them the understanding needed to continue caring for the child at home, and in the future. In order to reduce any anxiety children may have, all evaluation and treatment is child-friendly, in an environment created just for children.
