The Way Children Function

At the Maimonides Bone & Joint Center, we are committed to the total care of your child's orthopedic problems, from the simplest fractures to the most complex congenital anomalies. We offer a wide variety of medical support, including neonatal and pediatric specialty care units, as well as our step-down unit, all dedicated to our younger patients.

Watch a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon In Action

Our pediatric board-certified physicians, surgeons, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, physical therapists and medical assistants provide expert, comprehensive orthopedic care, and are all highly trained to recognize and respond to the individual needs of your child. Our team collaborates with staff from plastic surgery, hematology/oncology, vascular surgery, infectious diseases and radiology, for the highest quality of care available. We also understand that family support is important to your child’s recovery and, as a result, parents are always encouraged to "room in" with their child during a hospital stay. In order to reduce your child’s anxiety, we evaluate and deliver both inpatient and outpatient care that is child-friendly, including the availability of Child Life Specialists to ease your child's experience, all in an environment created just for them.

The prestige of our medical team and services continues to attract patients from across the United States, and even the world. For these visitors, we have created the International Patients Program where you will find information regarding how to access our services.
