Maimonides Medical Center offers a generous benefits package, which includes medical, dental, life insurance, 403b retirement savings plan and pension plan, long-term disability insurance, tuition assistance, and more.
The plan includes coverage for medical services delivered in a hospital, emergency care facility, or physician's office. Prescription drugs and chiropractic services are also covered.
The plan emphasizes preventative and diagnostic care. Important plan features include a generous reimbursement for basic and major restorative procedures and orthodontia for dependents.
Employee contributions are payroll-deducted on a before-tax basis.
We provide no-cost basic life insurance coverage for employees scheduled to work 30 hours or more. Voluntary Permanent Life Insurance is also offered for employees, spouses and children at competitive rates.
Non-Contributory Retirement Plan
We want to help employees achieve the important goal of a secure and comfortable retirement. We make all contributions necessary to provide plan benefits to eligible non-union employees on a non-contributory basis.

Flexible Spending Accounts
A health care account pays for eligible medical care expenses, up to $3,000, which are not covered under medical or dental plans. Additionally, up to $5,000 can be used for dependent care expenses.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
If you become disabled and unable to work, we provide free income protection coverage equaling 60 percent of base earnings. Eligibility is 91 days after the onset of the disability.
