Special Features
Our team at Maimonides always stresses the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to the care of critically ill patients. Daily rounds are multidisciplinary and include members of the nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, respiratory care practitioners, nutritional support, rehabilitation specialists and social services. The trainee is instructed not only how to interact as a member of the team, but, also, ultimately, how to become a team leader.
