Dr. Neekianund Khulpateea is the Director of the Division of Gynecology & Gynecology-Oncology, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Khulpateea completed his residency at New York Methodist Hospital, followed by a fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. After his fellowship, Dr. Khulpateea held the Assistant Director position in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kings County Hospital as well as staff physician in Gynecology Oncology at Maimonides Medical Center. He went on to become the Chief and Attending in Gynecologic Oncology at Coney Island Hospital, and then the Associate Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Khulpateea also worked for several years in private practice at Winthrop University Hospital at Mid Island Hospital in Nassau County.

Dr. Neekianund Khulpateea authored papers and various publications. He has held teaching positions including Clinical Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Health Science Center and Associate Clinical Profession at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Khulpateea is the Associate Professor at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the Brooklyn Gynecological Society, the American Medical Association, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Khulpateea has been the recipient of many honors, such as the WHO Scholarship to study Medicine, and was given the Attending of the Year award thirteen times over his career. Dr. Khulpatee also twice received the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award, and was a seven-time winner of the CREOG Excellence in Teaching Award. |
