Edgar Lichstein, MD

Dr. Lichstein came to Maimonides Medical Center in 1976 as Director of the Division of Cardiology and helped develop the Division into one that provides top quality cardiac care. It is now considered one of the premier programs in the country.

Since 1989, he has been the Chair of the Department of Medicine and continues to oversee the expansion of the facility, assuring that the latest technology and equipment are available to provide the very best care for our cardiac patients.
