Dr. Edward Chapnick is the Director of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Chapnick has been part of Maimonides for almost three decades, previously completing both his Chief Medical Residency and Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Maimonides.

He has a wide spectrum of professional affiliations, such as the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, American Society for Microbiology, Medical Society State of New York, Kings County Medical Society, Infectious Diseases Society of America, Brooklyn Infectious Diseases Society, New York Society of Infectious Diseases, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, and the International Society of Travel Medicine. He is presently the Associate Professor of Medicine, at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Chapnick has been the recipient of many honors, including the Teacher of the Year at Maimonides. |
