Maimonides Medical Center was featured in two recent stories on the impact of Sandy-related hospital closures on other hospitals.

In the December 4th edition of the New York Times, a large photo of the Maimonides ER appears on page A24, along with featured quotes from Dr. John Marshall, Chair of Emergecy Medicine at Maimonides. The article can be read on the New York Times website by clicking here.  

On December 5th, Maimonides appeared in a Daily News article dealing with the impact of Coney Island Hospital’s closure on other Brooklyn hospitals. The story, accompanied by a large photo of our ER, appears on page 51 in the Brooklyn section. Dr. Marshall is again quoted in the story, which can be read on the Daily News website by clicking here.
