The Volunteer Department’s outreach activities include extensive involvement with student and youth programs.
It collaborates with many schools and youth agencies and participates in various internship programs. Some programs are geared toward career guidance and exploration, while others emphasize the community service aspect of volunteering.
Many schools, both public and private, have community service programs where students enroll in our programs to fulfill specific requirements. Very often, they stay with us after completing their programs and continue volunteering on their own initiative. By directly interacting with health care professional, students become aware of different career opportunities and the preparation required for each.
