Director of Cardiac Services and Perioperative Service’s Preadmission Testing Clinic

Adrienne DeRosa has been employed at MMC since 1989. She holds a MS in Nursing Administration and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from Wagner College. She has been practicing at Maimonides, as an ANCC certified NP, since 1998. She has varied RN experience particularly in critical care both medicine and surgery. Adrienne is a proponent of ongoing education both for her staff and patients. She began a Cardiac Service Continuing Education Program (CME accredited), approximately 3 years ago, aimed at the mid-level group here at Maimonides Medical Center. With a team of nurse practitioners, Adrienne lectures for the community on a variety of topics, as a member of the Maimonides Heart & Vascular Center, throughout the year. Adrienne has been instrumental in the start and success of the Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) program & NP faculty practice CHF clinic. She continues to be active in it's growth.
