Intensive Care Units
The Medical Center is raising the care we provide to patients in intermediate and intensive care units to a new level to insure the highest quality possible.
Our critical care services strive to provide care that is consistent, evidence-based and high quality. With a focus on patient care, the Medical Center has adopted a multi-disciplinary approach to critical care by utilizing physician intensivists and specially trained nurses and staff to manage the care of our sickest patients in our intensive care units. Our integrated approach has led to standardized admissions and treatment protocols that have resulted in shorter
lengths of stay and fewer complications for our patients.
We provide the full spectrum of medical, surgical, cardiac, pediatric, neonatal and post- anesthesia critical care services. Board-certified critical care physicians and specially trained critical care nurses staff seven intensive care units:
Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)
Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU)
Pediatric Special Care Unit
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
