In 2008, the Nursing Department implemented a new program designed to recognize and give credit to nurses who exceed the expectations of the patients they treat. Catch us at Our Best acknowledges nurses who excel at the principles of respect, empathy and cooperation in their daily work.
Blank comment cards can be found on every floor and in every unit of the hospital. This card provides the patients we serve, as well as their family members, with the opportunity to write about a nurse that they feel has shown them outstanding care during their stay.
Every month, based on the response cards, a different unit in the Nursing Department is recognized for illustrating exemplary behavior.
