Maimonides Medical Center started out as a small dispensary serving the poor and needy in its Brooklyn neighborhood, and over the next 100 years, it grew into a 700-bed world-class medical center. As we move into our second century, Maimonides will continue to reach for new levels of excellence and make important strides in the field of modern medicine, all the while remaining committed to its mission of providing high-quality, compassionate health care to the diverse patient population in our Brooklyn community.
