Dr. Mikhail Vaynblat is a surgeon in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Vaynblat received his initial medical and surgical training in Russia. After coming to New York, he was fully trained in general and cardiothoracic surgery at Maimonides, and SUNY Downstate Medical Center where he completed his residency and fellowship.

He serves as a Chairman of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) at Maimonides, which has a fully AALAC-accredited animal research facility. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and is actively involved in the training of surgical residents and fellows. Dr. Vaynblat is a well-known physician in the Russian American community, and has a proven record of excellent outcomes, one of the best in New York State for the past decade. |
