The new Maimonides Breast Cancer Center comprises 14,750 square feet of space in an eco-friendly facility with LED lighting and energy efficient heating/ventilation/air-conditioning systems. The Brooklyn Breast Cancer Program at the Maimonides Cancer Center has been granted a three-year full accreditation from the American College of Surgeons -- a designation only 5% of US hospitals have achieved.
